  • Teacher Appreciation
  • BrainPop Program
  • BrainPop Computer Science and Coding Program
  • SOL Pass
  • 3rd Grade SOL Chinese Presentations
  • T-shirts for Running Club Volunteer Coaches
  • T-Shirts for Battle of the Books Participants
  • Clinic Supplies
  • 5th Grade End-of-the-Year Party
  • $1,000 donation for art supplies
  • $33,000 for 141 ChromeBooks from Boosterthon donations

In addition, the PTA has made a $6,000 donation to GBI to be used at the school’s discretion.

Boosterthon Pledging is Open!

This year’s main fundraiser is the Great Bridge Wildcat Fun Run! It is a two-week program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on Monday, March 18. Packets are expected to go home with students on this day. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on Wednesday, March 27. With our big goal of raising $15,000 for Chromebooks, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun.

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB! Boosterthon’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they’re teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, our students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.

The easiest way to help us reach our goals is through our easy SHARE feature on funrun.com.

• Make a Student Star video to share with Facebook Friends by logging into your student’s account on funrun.com.  GBI’s Code is 713-493.

• Copy and paste the email template and then send to family, friends, and local businesses

• Go to funrun.com from your mobile device, click share, and send texts to friends and family?

EVERY PLEDGE COUNTS!

Due to space limitations and minimal parking, we unfortunately are not able to invite parents to cheer their students on for this year’s fun run.  We want to ensure the safety of the students as we negotiate our way through GBI’s first Boosterthon event.  We appreciate your understanding, as we know many parents will be disappointed by this decision.

Thank you for supporting GBI!
